The Defense Ministry announces the killing of 23 Houthis in an ambush by the army on the Al-Kukhdara front, west of Marib

The Ministry of Defense announced the killing of more than twenty-three Houthis in an ambush carried out by the army against groups of the Houthi militia in the Al-Makhdara front, west of Marib.

The ministry said, in a statement distributed to the media, that the militia suffered, on Wednesday, human and material losses due to the fire of the National Army heroes and tribes, and the raids of the coalition warplanes on the Nehm fronts in the eastern Sana’a governorate and al-Makhdara, west of Marib.

On the Nehm fronts, the source said, the army fought fierce battles against the militias, inflicting heavy losses on lives and equipment, including the destruction of two vehicles and 3 crews with their equipment towards the Salb Mountains.

In light of the battles, the warplanes targeted, with several raids, reinforcements that were on their way to the militias in the Al-Mhakhdara front, in the Al-Jufra region, and Al-Jawf Junction, and the bombing resulted in great human and material losses among the militias.

The source did not mention the areas in which the confrontations take place on the Nihm and Al-Makhdara fronts, at a time when the government forces' sites are falling into the hands of the Houthi militia on a daily basis, and the Mas camp in the seventh region has become the last location of the government forces in Nehm.
