A citizen was killed and others wounded in clashes between the Brotherhood militia in Taiz

A citizen was killed and two others were wounded as a result of clashes between gunmen affiliated with the Brotherhood militia, the PMF, on Saturday afternoon, west of Taiz, central Yemen.
A local source told NewsYemen that violent clashes broke out between soldiers from the 17th Infantry Brigade and the Fifth Presidential Guard Brigade, on Saturday noon, in the Bir Basha area, west of Taiz.
According to the source, the clashes between the soldiers of the two brigades, which are under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood, resulted in the death of a citizen and the injury of two others, and everyone was transferred to Al-Buraihi Hospital.
These clashes came hours after similar clashes took place in the Sina and 26th of September Street in central Taiz, and resulted in the injury of four civilians and three gunmen from both sides.
It is noteworthy that these clashes are not the first and will not be the last, and civilians are killed who have no relationship with their parties, as the conflict continues between Brotherhood leaders over influence, revenues and looted lands.
