The Brotherhood's authority, which controls Shabwa governorate, southeastern Yemen, used live fire to disperse hundreds of citizens, who chanted slogans against it during a sports event.
Activists on social media circulated a video clip in which hundreds of Shabwa people were chanting against the Brotherhood’s authority, in Ataq, the governorate center, chanting the slogans "Revolution .. Revolution Oh South."
The Brotherhood militia used live bullets to disperse the citizens who gathered peacefully, in a sports field, during a match within the Belqis Flying Championship, and chanted against it.
