Aden, NewsYemen:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, admitted, on Sunday, that the military escalation before it during the year 2020 was in retaliation for the killing of the commander of the Quds Force in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, Qassem Soleimani, who was killed in an American strike last January near the Iraqi capital Baghdad airport.

The Houthi militia’s confession came from the group’s representative to Tehran, Ibrahim Al-Moayad, who said that “the surprise after the assassination of Soleimani came from Yemen through heroic operations and field achievements,” according to what was quoted by the Houthi Al-Masirah TV channel.

Al-Moayad considered that "Qassem Soleimani, was a companion in weapons and training for the mujahideen." As he put it.
