Mocha, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

A civilian died of his injury in a Houthi mine explosion, on Sunday, in Mocha countryside.

A local source said to NewsYemen that a Houthi mine exploded in the citizen "Ali Samarjad" in front of his house, southwest of the village of Al-Baqiriya, at sunset on Sunday.

He said that the explosion tore the lower body of the victim to scattered pieces, which led to his death on the spot.

Videos showed that the victim was lying on the ground with half a body, while some citizens were trying to remove the rest of his body from the scene of the accident.

The accident comes days after a truck driver was injured in a mine explosion in Jabal al-Nar, east of Mocha.

About 1,200 victims were killed as a result of mines from the Houthi militia, in seven coastal directorates, after the Houthi militia turned it into the largest minefield in the world.
