Deposit Customs extends the customs demarcation period

The customs of Al-Wadiah Port has extended the customs clearance period for cars, equipment and machinery for Yemeni expatriates returning home from today, Tuesday, until January 31, after being arrested at the beginning of the current year 2021.
The Director General of Al-Wadiah Land Port, Mutlaq Mubarak Al-Sayari, confirmed that the implementation of the Cabinet’s decision and the instructions related to the demarcation process for cars and semi-trailer tractors (locomotive heads), machinery, equipment and cars, is continuing according to the decisions and instructions issued, pointing out that the Customs Department will work to implement the decision from today until January 31.
Al-Sairi revealed the number of passengers and transport that took place during the past year 2020, which amounted to (542206) passengers who passed through the port to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, while cars and tankers of all kinds reached (193815) automatic vehicles.
