Taiz, NewsYemen:

Dozens of Al-Haima residents in Taiz city, today, carried out a protest to condemn the Houthi crimes against the people of the region.

The protesters condemned, in the stand that was carried out in front of the local authority, in which human rights activists and local activists participated, the aggression of the terrorist Houthi militia against the people of the region and the perpetration of the most heinous crimes against them.

The protesters called on the international community, the UN envoy and human rights organizations to carry out their humanitarian duties and intervene to stop the Houthi campaign and the brutal crimes against the people of the Al-Haima area.

A statement issued by the stand said that the terrorist Houthi militia continues the crimes of murder, displacement, destruction and plundering of funds and farms in the name of collection and support for the war effort.

It added that the militias are stripping citizens of their rights and their farms under flimsy pretexts.

The statement appealed to the leadership of the legitimacy and the local authority represented by the governor of the governorate to carry out a dirham towards their citizens from the sons of the neighborhood and to complete the liberation of Taiz Governorate from the control of Houthi terrorism.

Over the course of about a week, the terrorist Houthi militia committed brutal crimes against the people of the Al-Haima region (east of Taiz), which amounted to more than 330 crimes, according to a report by the Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms.
