Shabwa, NewsYemen:

A journalist in Shabwa governorate, southern Yemen, reported receiving a new threat of arrest by the so-called Special Security Forces, affiliated with the Islah Party, the local branch of the Muslim Brotherhood, because of his views.

Journalist Saleh Aqrous said that he had received new threats of arrest by the Brotherhood’s authority that controls Shabwa governorate, indicating that he is an independent journalist and has not been threatened throughout his career in monitoring and documenting violations, before the Brotherhood took control of the governorate.

In a communiqué on his Facebook account, he held Ahmed Mohsen Al-Sharif, the head of the Islah party in Shabwa, the governor of the governorate, Muhammad Saleh bin Adiu, and the commander of the Special Forces, Abd Rabbo Lahaab, responsible for what might be attached to him.
