Mokha, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

On Monday, the Director of Al-Mokha Hospital, Dr. Nasr Askar, called on the health offices in the districts of Mawza, Dhu Bab, and Al-Waziya to establish a database for people with chronic conditions.

He told NewsYemen that the database will allow Mokha Hospital to deliver those who are eligible for medicines properly.

He added that the database should include the patient's name, photo, phone number, ID card, type of insulin used, his age, and the directorate to which he belongs.

He explained that the documented data will be sent to the health office in the governorate to approve the medicines owed to patients on a monthly basis.

He stressed that the official authorities do not provide hospitals with medicines for chronic diseases, except with a database that properly documents the cases.

He pointed out that the arrival of patients to the hospital from other directorates pushed him to give them the amount owed to  mokha , which would lead to a disability.
