The Ministry of Expatriate Affairs headquarters in Sana'a witnesses long lines of young people wishing to travel abroad, most if not all of them go to Saudi Arabia, from early morning until late at night in order to obtain permission that enables those wishing to travel to go to Azal Hospital for a medical examination As well as making travel arrangements through work and travel agencies and offices.

The information requested by the Ministry of Expatriates under the control of the Houthi militia from travelers, according to the advertisement published on its website, includes filling in the required form with attaching two personal photos, a copy of the ID card and another copy of the passport, in addition to a copy of the traveler's visa.

While the Houthi Ministry claims that the process of collecting information comes within the framework of a plan to prepare a database for Yemeni expatriates abroad, a number of travelers told "NewsYemen" that the ministry is asking them to document their full personal data in exchange for obtaining a document sent to Azal Hospital for a medical examination and another to Labor and travel offices to complete their travel arrangements to Saudi Arabia.

According to the young man, Muhammad Saleh, who is one of those whom "NewsYemen" met while he was in the waiting queue at the Ministry of Expatriates' gate in Sanaa, what the Houthi militia is doing is a security and intelligence work whose aim is to collect information about everyone who travels to Saudi Arabia for reasons unknown until now, but it may Related to monitoring their communications with their families and relatives here in Yemen and possibly their financial transfers.

While a source in the ministry told "NewsYemen", that the information contained in the forms that are filled out by those wishing to travel abroad, especially to Saudi Arabia, are made two copies, one of which is sent to the intelligence service run by the Houthis, and the other is sent to the Preventive Security Service.
