A civilian was injured in a Houthi mine explosion in Mocha

A civilian was seriously injured in a landmine explosion left by the Houthi militia, on Wednesday, north of Mokha.

According to local sources, the explosion, which was widely heard, occurred while a citizen was driving his car in the Najiba area, resulting in serious injuries.

It added that the injured was taken to the city of Mocha to receive treatment, noting that the mine damaged the car he was driving.

Since its liberation, the Houthi mines have caused about 1,200 casualties in the West Coast districts.

 It is estimated that the Houthi militia planted about two million mines to make the coastal directorates the largest minefield in the world.
