Al-Dhalea .. Southern attacks against the Houthis on 3 fronts in "Meris"

The joint southern forces launched, in the early hours of Saturday dawn, a large-scale attack from several axes on positions controlled by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, in the Meris front in Al-Dhalea governorate, in the south of the country.

Field sources reported that the Southern Resistance attacked militia sites in the eastern, northern and western sectors of the Meris Front, amid great human and material losses among the Houthis.

It explained that the attacks targeted Houthi positions in the mountain range on the western axis of the front, in conjunction with other attacks on militia sites in Wadi Al-Zilah and Tibbah Melzik on the northern axis.

While other units of the southern forces attacked the Houthi militia sites in Al-Qahra, Tabat Dar Al-Sabaa and Wadi Al-Saili in the eastern sector of the front.

According to the sources, dozens of Houthis were killed and wounded, and the confrontations resulted in material losses in their ranks, in addition to the southern forces recovering quantities of weapons and various ammunition.

On the Al-Oud front, the joint forces launched attacks against the Houthi militia in the areas of "Al-Qahra" and "Yais" and areas near the international line linking Aden and Sanaa.

During the attacks, the southern forces managed to take control of many sites, and inflict heavy losses on the militia, while the bodies of the latter's elements are still dumped in the battlefields.
