A soldier was killed and another member of the Hadrami Elite was wounded by government forces from the first military region in the Cotton Directorate of Hadramawt Governorate, eastern Yemen.
Sources told (NewsYemen), that government forces affiliated with the First Military Region shot at a car carrying soldiers from the Hadrami Elite under the pretext of suspicion, this morning, Saturday, in a popular neighborhood in the Cotton District, the center of Wadi Hadramout.
According to the sources, a soldier was killed and another soldier was seriously injured. He was transferred to the General Cotton Hospital, and he descended from the Al Jaber tribe, and military forces surrounded the hospital.
The incident comes in light of the increase in clashes between the forces of the First Military Region and members of the Hadrami elite, in addition to citizens, and the clashes resulted in the killing and wounding of citizens and soldiers from both sides.
