Lamlas quickly directs work to address the generation capacity losses in Aden's electricity

The Governor of Aden, Ahmed Hamed Lamlas, directed today the leadership of the Electricity Corporation to work quickly to address the loss of generating capacity and the random and double connection.

This came in an extended meeting with Dr. Anwar Kalashat, Minister of Electricity and Energy, leaders of the electricity sector, Abdulhakim Fadel, Assistant Undersecretary at the Ministry, Abdelkader Baslaa, Director General of the General Electricity Corporation, and Mujeeb Al Shaabi, Director General of the Aden Electricity Corporation, his deputies, station directors and their deputies.

Lamlas referred to the results of communication with the President of the Republic and the intensive meetings with the Prime Minister and the results that resulted from it, including the formation of the Supreme Council of Energy and the decisions taken at its first meeting, stressing the need to unify the decision-making authority in the generation stations and hold one party responsible for managing and coordinating work in it.

They also touched upon a mechanism to address loss recovery, eliminate random and double linkage, revenue collection, maintenance, and other issues.

The Minister of Electricity and Energy, Dr. Anwar Kalashat stressed that the task is difficult and the legacy is heavy and needs time and great capabilities, and everyone should bear his responsibility, stressing that the ministry will not tolerate any negligent or negligent in his work.
