Aden, NewsYemen:

The Muslim Brotherhood authorities in the oil-rich Shabwa governorate forced the owners of small shops in the Asilan district to pay exorbitant financial royalties, under the pretext of supporting the Marib fronts.

According to an official memorandum, the Muslim Brotherhood authorities instructed the owners of shops in the Asiliyah market to pay large sums of money to prepare a convoy that it intends to run to Marib.

The circular obligated the owners of commercial stores to pay sums of money not less than (one hundred thousand riyals) for every single opening in the market, in a step reminiscent of the illegal financial levies imposed by the Houthi militia on the residents in their areas of control under the pretext of supporting the war effort.
