Aden, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

An official source in the Yemeni ambassador’s office in the capital, Addis Ababa, stated that they took all necessary measures after nearly 400 African migrants and refugees were exposed to fire by the Houthi militia, most of them Ethiopians in one of the centers in the capital, Sana’a.

In a question about "the embassy not holding a press conference about the incident"? The source stated that the Addis government itself was keen not to take any uncalculated moves so as not to have angry reactions from the Ethiopian street, and they preferred to reserve this, contenting themselves with communicating through diplomatic channels.

The source also indicated that the embassy offered condolences and meetings were held with representatives of the "Ministry of Foreign Affairs" and the official of the "Middle East Department" from the very first moments. What happened was explained, and that was transmitted by channels, whether Arabic or Amharic.

He pointed out that the Ethiopian authority understood the matter and it itself tried to be satisfied with what was done through diplomatic channels, official bodies and the role of organizations.

The source mentioned that the embassy there, as well as the Yemeni community, received the news of the incident with great dissatisfaction, stressing that what happened to the immigrant brothers was not issued by a responsible party, but by a terrorist group outside all norms and laws.

It is worth noting that the Arab coalition had announced that it would facilitate the transport of 160 African immigrants by air from Yemen on Tuesday under the auspices of the United Nations and in coordination with the Yemeni government.

On the other hand, the protests of the Ethiopians in Yemen entered its eighth day, denouncing the crime committed by Iran's arm against immigrants and leaving a number of dead and wounded, demanding that the circumstances be revealed and a fair investigation into the crime.
