The Southern Transitional Council reached an agreement with the Supreme Commission for Security and the Army, to suspend the protests demanding the payment of the salaries of southern security and military personnel.
Media close to the council reported that "an agreement has been reached with the Supreme Security Council and the Southern Army to suspend the protests to give the parity government an opportunity to address the situation."
