Taiz, NewsYemen, Exclusive:

The Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, regained control of most of the sites that it had lost in recent days, in favor of the army, on the fronts in the west of Taiz Governorate.

Local sources told "NewsYemen" that the Houthi militia had regained the mountains of "Al-Sarham" and "Al-Anin", and the town of "Al-Sharaf" in the Jabal Habashi district, west of Taiz, after the army had liberated them in recent days.

The sources stated that the militia launched counterattacks on the "Al-Ahkum" front, during which it was able to regain many sites, after the withdrawal of the army forces due to the depletion of ammunition and the lack of any military reinforcements from the Taiz axis to support them.

It indicated that it takes three hours to supply the resistance in the Al-Ahkum front by car, which makes it difficult for them to stay in the area.

The Houthi militia launched continuous attacks since last Wednesday, and a military source said, using various types of weapons and tanks, and as a result, they returned to control the strategic mountain "Al-Sarham".

According to the source, the army forces retreated from their positions in the mountain under the pressure of the bombing of the Houthi militia and after repelling Houthi attacks, in which five combat groups participated, to the Al-Aqhaf and Al-Jabriya sites on the Al-Ain front, west of Taiz Governorate.

The army and resistance forces retained until this moment their control over the "Al-Kadha" area, which they managed to liberate during the recent confrontations with the Houthi militia.
