Half a month after his disappearance in mysterious circumstances, Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, the head of the unrecognized Houthi government, appeared lying on a sick bed in a hospital in Sanaa, which is under the militia's control.
Ibn Habtoor appeared, in a video clip, in a miserable condition, "offering his greetings" to the leader of the militia, Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi, who described him as "the leader of the revolution" and also to the Houthi leader, Mahdi Al-Mashat, the head of the so-called Houthi political council.
Although the Houthi militia had earlier leaked news that “Ibn Habtoor” had been infected with the Corona virus, he appeared in the video, not wearing a medical mask and not subject to precautionary isolation, and surrounded by a number of people.
Two weeks ago, the situation of Abdulaziz bin Habtoor was shrouded in mystery, with the suspension of his activities for the third week in a row, and followers of the Houthi militia’s leak considered the news of his infection with Corona, an introduction to get rid of it, especially in light of its strict concealment of the virus in its areas of control.
