A British organization that monitors the Brotherhood’s violations in Shabwa

A report by the British human rights organization Front Line, based in Sheffland, monitored the violations of the Muslim Brotherhood’s authorities in Shabwa governorate, southeastern Yemen.

The report contained a summary of numbers of violations by the Muslim Brotherhood authorities, which varied from suppression of freedom of expression, arrests, house raids, and the storming and bombing of villages with heavy weapons during the period from August 2019 to March 2021.

The organization said that the Brotherhood authorities suppressed and prevented (7) peaceful marches and protests, and also monitored the arrest of (16) media professionals.

It stated that the number of areas and villages that the Muslim Brotherhood authorities stormed by using tanks and heavy weapons to silence their voices were (7) villages, noting that (684) opponents had arbitrarily arrested them.  The organization also monitored, according to its report, the Brotherhood's forces arrested (27) children.

The British organization revealed that (32) houses were exposed to the raids. They are the homes of opponents, and their children and women have been subjected to intimidation.
