Aden, NewsYemen:

Academician Khaled Al-Salmi considered that talking about what is known as "the three references for a political solution in Yemen" comes only as a matter of condolence, indicating that these references have ended and are full of death.

Al-Salmi said, on his Facebook page: “The three references have ended and they have died, and talking about them is just a matter of condolence. The Gulf initiative, which stipulated the sharing of power in Sanaa between the conference and reform, no longer has meaning after Sanaa became the hand of the Houthis and the leaders of the conference and reform have lounged in cafes.

He added, "The six provinces that the Houthi rejected are no longer suitable after most of the north is under his control, and the Security Council’s decision to withdraw the Houthi weapon has no value, after the war failed to withdraw it, and after the Security Council itself abandoned that decision."

Al-Salmi pointed out that any "new settlement will impose a new reality in favor of the stronger party, which is the Houthi, who believes that this is just nonsense. According to him.
