The Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, has kidnapped a journalist in the city of Ibb, central Yemen, in light of daily violations by the militia in various directorates of the province

Identical sources said that the Houthi militia kidnapped the journalist, Abdul Qawi Al-Odaini, editor-in-chief of the Investor magazine, from one of the Houthi points while he was on his way to visit his family in Ibb.

The sources added that Houthi militia gunmen at one of the points kidnapped the Al-Adini journalist and took him to the notorious Political Security prison in the city.

Al-Odaini journalist works at the Ministry of Oil in the capital, Aden, and heads the Investor Press Foundation.

The case of the kidnapping of the Al-Odaini journalist revealed the continuation and continuation of the Houthi militia's arbitrary kidnapping campaigns against journalists and citizens in Ibb governorate, and the rest of the governorates under their control, while it is practicing suppression of media freedoms, silencing activists and threatening those who violate them with imprisonment, kidnapping and death sentences.
