Military analyst Brigadier Thabet Hussein Saleh considered that supporting the Southern Transitional Council at this stage is the available, reasonable and necessary option.
Saleh said in a Facebook post, the cohesion of the Southerners and the coordination of their efforts is very important, but waiting until a consensus is achieved that satisfies everyone means being lost, because consensus is impossible and did not happen even during the era of the prophets and caliphs.
He added, "Therefore, supporting the transitional council at this stage, as it is the most popular, politically and militarily present, is the available, reasonable and necessary option."
