Aden, NewsYemen:

The spokesman for the Southern Transitional Council, Ali Al Kathiri, announced the council’s refusal to legitimize the decision to appoint Officer Ahmed Al-Mousai as the Deputy General of the Republic.

The transitional comment came, following the leak of a document from the President of the Supreme Judicial Council, to approve the decision to appoint Ahmed Ahmed Al-Mousai as Vice-President of the Republic.

Al-Kathiri said that the decision of the so-called head of the Supreme Judicial Council, through which the decision to appoint a security officer as a public prosecutor, would not change the fact that the aforementioned appointment decision was rejected altogether.

He added that this decision is like all the unilateral and non-agreed upon decisions taken by the Yemeni Legitimacy Presidency.

And he continued: Therefore, we renew our position, which we announced after the issuance of this package of decisions, which includes rejecting it, not dealing with it, and rejecting everything that results from it, starting with the premise that such unilateral decisions are considered to blow up the spirit and contents of the Riyadh Agreement.
