The demand for vegetables and fruits in The City of Makha is twice as high during the holy month, compared to mushroom days.
Workers and sellers told Newsman that the number of buyers increased significantly during the holy month, and even the increase is 100 percent.
They added that ramadan habits in many hidden families include vegetables being among fasting breakfast items.
They confirmed that sales exceeded twice as much as sales in the days leading up to the holy month.
