Al-Dhalea, NewsYemen:

The battles between the southern forces and the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, intensified during the past hours in Al-Dhalea, after desperate Houthi attempts to penetrate the first southern defenses lines.

Violent clashes erupted between units of the southern forces and elements of the Houthi militia in the sector of the Al-Oud Front and the strategic Habil Al-Abdi northwest of the Al-Dhalea governorate.

According to a source in the southern forces, the latter deals, according to the rules of engagement, with militia escalations in the vicinity of the aforementioned battle fronts.

According to the source, the militias are using various types of weapons in bombing the first southern defense lines, at a time when violent clashes are still continuing.

In the details, dozens of Houthi militia members were killed and others were wounded on the strategic depth fronts northwest of Al-Dhalea governorate.

According to field sources in the Southern Joint Forces, the militia members tried to extract the bodies of their dead after the failure of their recent attacks on the southern defense lines in Battar, Habeel Al-Kalb and Sabira in Al-Dhalea.

According to the sources, the bodies of the dead militia are dumped in abundance in the vicinity of Wadi Sabira, the town of Battar and Habeel al-Kalb, while the militias are trying to retrieve the bodies of the dead and treat the wounded, but to no avail.

The sources said that the militias' heavy losses today are the largest since the beginning of this year.

Yesterday evening, the southern units of the forces managed to break the massive Houthi advance, through which the latter attempted to attack the first southern defense lines on the strategic depth fronts northwest of Al-Dhalea.

The southern and joint armed forces had responded to a desperate attack launched by the Houthi militia in the Hajar-Bab block south of the Al-Oud area, in which the militias attempted to attack in the direction of Tebat al-Muqatil and Bab al-Sudd, and after intense confrontations in which medium and light weapons were used from a distance of zero, the southern forces were able to deal with the situation is decisive, and it has caused new losses among the militias and forced them to retreat and be defeated.

These developments come less than two hours after these militias attempted to launch a series of attacks against the Sabira-Al-Jubb, Al-Fakher and Battar sectors, in which Nafis met the fate of defeat and losses.
