Statistics: 153 Yemeni doctors lost their lives due to Corona

The Association of "Yemeni Doctors in Diaspora" said, on Monday, that the number of deaths from the Corona virus among medical personnel in Yemen reached 153, as of Sunday evening, since the outbreak of the epidemic in early 2020.
In a statement, the Association issued a distress call to save the collapsed health sector in Yemen and its cadres, after the Corona virus killed dozens of doctors.
The statement called on "the international community, international and regional organizations and local authorities to take urgent action to deliver the vaccine to health sector workers in Yemen."
The association, which operates on a voluntary, non-profit, charitable basis, warned that "the escalating deaths of doctors and health personnel will lead to the collapse of the dilapidated health system in Yemen."
The Association gathers Yemeni migrant medical cadres in various countries of the world to support and support the health sector and its cadres.
The total number of registered cases of Coronavirus in the areas controlled by the legitimate government increased, on Monday, to (6137), of which (1187) died and (2546) recovered, according to the Supreme National Emergency Committee.
