Washington: Lenderking's talks in Saudi Arabia dealt with the political and humanitarian tracks in Yemen

 The United States of America announced that the talks of its envoy to Yemen, Timothy Lenderking in Saudi Arabia, carried messages on the political and humanitarian tracks, stressing that there is no solution in Yemen without Saudi Arabia.

On Friday, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed with the US envoy the situation in Yemen, and they reviewed the joint efforts made to reach a comprehensive political solution to the Yemeni crisis.

A spokesman for the US State Department said that the meeting allowed Washington to stress urgent messages on the political and humanitarian tracks, while acknowledging that there would be no solution in Yemen without Saudi Arabia.

The American envoy to Yemen arrived in Riyadh with the UN envoy Martin Griffiths, to hold talks with Yemeni and Saudi officials, while Lenderking will arrive on Saturday evening in Muscat.
