Taiz, NewsYemen, special:

The fourth day of the last Eid al-Fitr was in the village of Al-Shaaban in the isolation of Al-Sunnah, south of Taiz, on a date with bloody events that you have not been familiar with in its history, in which an armed intrusion of ten armed men ended with the execution of one of the village’s youth.

On the morning of the 16th of May, the residents of the village of Al-Ma’afer District, Taiz countryside, were surprised by the sounds of live bullets as dozens of armed men armed with medium and light weapons stormed the village in search of a young man in the village for the purpose of killing him.

The gunmen headed towards the house of the young Khalil Abdel-Waseh Al-Sanawi and took him from inside the house to carry out the death sentence issued against him by the leader of the armed group called "Rashad", due to a personal dispute.

The gang was not satisfied with the blood of young Khalil, but also set fire to a number of the villagers’ crops and threw bombs on a number of the village’s houses with a heavy barrage of bullets, despite the absence of any armed resistance from the villagers, in a scene of revenge and nothing more.

A source close to the young man's family told "Newsmen" that 3 security teams warned hours after the crime, despite being informed of it in the first moments, and said that they were satisfied with examining the crime scene and refused to move to arrest the perpetrators in the neighboring Al-Akhmour area of the Al-Mawasit Directorate.

The source explains that the majority of the gang members are known, and some of them belong to the army forces in Taiz, and two of them are affiliated with the so-called Fawaz Al-Fawdaei, the commander of the so-called First Brigade of Support and Support, one of the formations affiliated with the Brotherhood militia led by Hammoud Saeed Al-Mikhlafi, funded by Qatar and stationed in isolated locations.

The source accused the security of the Directorate of leniency in the issue of arresting the perpetrators and trying to dilute the case and solve it by customary methods, which is rejected by the blood guardians and the people of the region who stress their civil culture and their belief in the law and their rejection of these methods.

Last Tuesday, dozens of village and isolated residents were protesting in front of the Ma'afer Security Administration building, denouncing the passage of two weeks of the crime without arresting the perpetrators.

The sons of isolation and the victims’ families affirmed, in a statement, that “the perpetrators are released and have fun, defying justice, the hand of law and the security authorities, and the people and the guardians of blood,” calling on the local authority in the district and its security apparatus to play their role “to stave off sedition and so that the district’s squares do not turn into an arena for revolts and fighting.”

The residents of the isolation pointed to the emergence of multiple crimes in the isolation and the directorate, "which he did not have prior knowledge of and in full view of the leadership of the directorate and its security services," noting that this came as a result of "inaction, lethargy, and the absence of responsibility on the part of the concerned agencies in controlling and tracking the perpetrators and enforcing the law against all those who violated it." ".

They stressed that the failure of these devices to do their job makes them "partners in this tampering and directly responsible legally, and they have the data of the killers and their whereabouts, and they have been lax about arresting them, tracking them, and bringing them to the judicial police."

The people’s statement refers to the rise in the rate of crime and chaos in a region that has been known for its strong rejection of the culture of violence for decades, as is the case of the districts of the countryside of Taiz, or what is historically called Al-Hajaria, one of the castles of thought and culture in Yemen.

However, the matter differed with its fall under the rule and dominance of the Brotherhood’s militias, which generated a new reality of chaos and attempts to cultivate a culture of violence and weapons in a way unfamiliar with Al-Hijriya, including the Ma’afer areas, in which it even exceeded the usual in armed tribal societies.

One of the evidences of that tragic incident that took place at a wedding ceremony in the isolation of Sunna during the last Eid al-Fitr, which claimed the lives of three young girls after they tampered with a grenade thrown by one of the attendees and did not explode, as one of the effects of the Brotherhood’s culture of violence, with which the celebration of marriage is carried out with bombs and not only bullets.

In order for this culture to succeed in penetration, the Brotherhood had to disrupt the security system in the directorate by appointing one of its members at its head to ensure the transfer of the scenes of chaos created by the Brotherhood in the city of Taiz to its peaceful civilian countryside.

This was achieved by appointing Colonel / Abdul Karim Al-Olayani as Director of Al-Ma'afer Security last December, which represents the biggest motive for consolidating the scene of security chaos in the Directorate during the past months.

The appointment of Al-Olayani in this position was similar to his reward for the services he provided to the Brotherhood, and the important role he played in the Brotherhood’s plans to overthrow the Hajariya areas during the past two years.

The man represented the first paper to storm the city of Al-Turbah, the heart of Al-Hijaria, in mid-August 2019 by the Brotherhood militia led by Mansour Al-Akhali, the director of Taiz security, who stormed the Al-Shamayatayn Security Directorate to try to impose Al-Olayani as director of security for the directorate instead of its director, Colonel Abdul Karim Al-Sami.

Al-Sami’i was one of the most powerful and influential security figures, and he had a strong relationship with the commander of the 35th Armored Brigade, the martyr Adnan Al-Hammadi, so the group realized that getting rid of him was the first step to controlling Al-Hujariya.

The imposition of Al-Olayani at the time came as director of Al-Shamayatayn security after he held the position of director of security for the Al-Misrakh Directorate, and he was among those involved in the liquidation and execution of citizen Faisal Mahmoud, inside the security administration building, and he was among those involved in storming and looting the house of the former governor, Dr. Amin Ahmed Mahmoud in the events that took place Directorate in May of 2019.

Al-Olayani provided great services to his group in order to get rid of its opponents in the stone of Taiz, and today he continues to provide these services in his mission to rid the group of its biggest historical opponent, which is the “civil and peaceful” sons of the stone and their awareness of the culture of law and the state, this awareness that represented an obstacle to the spread of Brotherhood ideology and penetration.

Al-Olayani bears witness to this, as the man did not obtain membership in the local council in the district of Al-Ma’afer in the isolation of Al-Jabziya except because of the alliance of his Islah party (the local arm of the Muslim Brotherhood in Yemen) with the forces of the left represented by the Socialist Party and the Organization
