Aden, NewsYemen:

The Yemeni Network for Rights and Freedoms condemned, in the strongest terms, the terrorist crime committed by the Houthi militia, Iran's arm in Yemen, in Marib, and called on the international community to take a serious and effective role in the face of these crimes against civilians.

The network expressed its strong condemnation of the Houthi militia's bombing of the city, Thursday evening, with 4 ballistic missiles and drones, perpetrating a horrific massacre that killed 8 civilians and wounded about 27 civilians, including women, as a primary outcome.

She said that this heinous crime came in light of the presence of the Omani mediation delegation in Sana'a to seek peace, to confirm that the Houthi militia only understands the language of war, killing and abuse.

And that 469 civilians were killed by ballistic missiles, Katyushas and artillery shells fired by the Houthi militia on densely populated residential neighborhoods, while the number of injured reached about 1,119 civilians with the same terrorist attacks from August 2014 to December last year.

The network stressed that the Houthi militia's intentional bombing of residential neighborhoods and camps for the displaced in light of these efforts is a terrorist war crime that destroys any efforts aimed at bringing peace and defusing the war.

She called on the United Nations and its Special Envoy to Yemen, the Security Council, the countries sponsoring peace, the international community, and humanitarian and human rights organizations to assume their responsibility for all these terrorist crimes.

And to take clear, frank and deterrent stances against the continuous crimes of the coup militia against the Yemeni people, which did not observe any covenant or responsibility and did not hesitate to target safe civilians and spill the blood of Yemenis in defiance of all UN resolutions.
