Aden, NewsYemen:

On Saturday, the Houthi militia refused to disembark a United Nations ship load of wheat at the port of Hodeidah, in an incident that impeded the arrival of aid, the second of its kind, at the port on the Red Sea this month.

The sources said that the Houthi militia forced the ship Gloris C of the World Food Program to leave the berth of the port of Hodeidah without unloading its cargo of 12,500 tons of wheat.

This comes less than two weeks after the same militia refused to unload the ship (Gloreus) of the World Food Program, 250,000 bags of Turkish flour in the port of Hodeidah due to what it said was "unfit for human use."

There has been no official comment from the UN program so far.

At the beginning of this month, the port witnessed the accident of the capsize of a ship belonging to the United Nations Food Agency while unloading its cargo of oil derivatives, which resulted in the death of at least one worker.

The legitimate government had allowed the entry of ships loaded with oil derivatives to the port of Hodeidah last March, to alleviate the humanitarian situation, despite the Houthis violating the Stockholm Agreement and looting 50 billion Yemeni riyals of oil revenues allocated to the salaries of public officials.
