Hadhramaut, NewsYemen:

An activist close to the local authority in Shabwa governorate, Yasser Al-Saili, revealed that the governor of the governorate, Muhammad Saleh bin Adiou, and the oil company in the governorate raised the price of fuel, despite it being imported from Hadhramaut at lower prices.

Al-Saili said in his Facebook post, that the Hadhramaut Coast Oil Company published on its Facebook page that it distributes 900,000 liters of petroleum to the company’s branches (the coast of Wadi Shabwa, Al-Mahra) and 950,000 liters of diesel at the local price, which is (470 Yemeni riyals), noting that this is a direct and explicit accusation from the Hadhramaut branch of the Shabwa Oil Company that it provides them with oil and diesel at a reduced price, meaning that the price of twenty liters of oil or diesel is (9400 riyals), while in all Shabwa governorate stations the twenty liters is sold for approximately (15,000 riyals).

Al-Saili continued, "In this case, either our friends are selling local oil and diesel at the black market price, or the Hadhramaut branch oil company is slandering them."

And he indicated that the citizens of Shabwa are searching for the truth and demanding the opening of a transparent investigation into the allegations of the Hadhramaut Oil Company, wondering: Does "Khaled Al-Akbari", the director of the oil company in the coast of Hadhramaut, dare to slander and lie again about the Shabwa company?  Or is everything Al-Akbari said previously, is true?
