Aden, NewsYemen:

On Wednesday, Arab coalition forces intercepted 3 Houthi drones in Yemeni airspace, one day after the Houthi militia attempted to attack Saudi Arabia's Abha airport with two booby-trapped planes.

The Arab coalition said that its air forces intercepted and destroyed a booby-trapped drone in the early morning in Yemeni airspace, then destroyed a second drone, and after a few hours, it intercepted and destroyed a third booby-trapped drone.

The coalition indicated a hostile escalation by the terrorist Houthi militia, with attempts to target civilians.

The coalition stressed: "We take and implement operational measures to protect civilians and civilian objects from hostile attacks"

Yesterday, the coalition reported the destruction of a mobile platform for launching booby-trapped drones in Sanaa, adding that the launch pad it destroyed was used to launch the two drones at Abha airport.

The coalition confirmed the targeting of the launch pad in Sanaa while preparing for a hostile operation with a booby-trapped march, noting that the process of destroying the platform included the elimination of the responsible elements.

The coalition published video clips documenting the targeting and destruction of a launch pad for drones in Sanaa that was used in the two hostile operations targeting Abha International Airport.

Earlier, on Tuesday, the Saudi defenses had intercepted two booby-trapped drones within 24 hours that tried to attack Abha International Airport, injuring 8 people and damaging a civilian plane as a result of shrapnel scattering.
