The mysterious death of the son of the leader of the Houthi intelligence, Abdul Qader Al-Shami

The Houthi militia - the Iranian arm in Yemen - mourned the academic at Sanaa University, Ali al-Shami, the son of the leader in its ranks and appointed as the deputy head of the so-called Security and Intelligence Service and wanted No. (9) on the Arab coalition list, Abdul Qadir al-Shami.

The Houthi militia said, in a statement on behalf of (Sana'a University), that the deceased Ali Al-Shami, who held the position of Deputy Dean of the College of Sharia and Law at Sana'a University, contributed to what it described as "correcting the conditions of the university and transferring its administrative and educational system to the ranks of international administrative and educational systems."

On Tuesday, September 7, 2021, the Houthi militia claimed that the deceased al-Shami "was distinguished by his legal theses emanating from the Qur'anic culture," as she put it.

The sudden death of the son of the Houthi leader in the newly created Houthi intelligence apparatus, without referring to the cause of death, raised the questions of the pioneers of social networking sites inside and outside Yemen.

The mysterious death of the Houthi leader at Sana’a University brought to mind the death of the senior leader in the ranks of the group, Yahya al-Shami, days after the death of his son Zakaria al-Shami, in circumstances similar to what is believed to be inter-regional family liquidations in the ranks of the group.

And last May, the impersonator of the rank of Major General Abdul Qadir Ahmed Qassem al-Shami, was subjected to an assassination attempt, during the Jumnah tour, Bani al-Harith, north of Sanaa, as a result of which he was seriously wounded, and political sources in Sanaa believe that the differences between the wings of the Houthi group have worsened since the arrival of "Erlo", a leader in the Revolutionary Guards.  Iran, by fueling the conflict between those close to Iran and others who see that Al-Houthi is stifling them by focusing his large followers from the Saada wing on the joints of money and power.
