Al-Bayda, NewsYemen:

Local sources in Al-Bayda governorate reported that the Houthi militia had taken control of the last strongholds of the legitimate forces and the popular resistance in the governorate.

It explained that the Houthis launched large-scale attacks in the districts of Al-Soma, Musawa and Mukairas, adjacent to the governorates of southern Yemen, in an effort to control them.

The Iranian-backed militia managed - according to the sources - to take control of Al-Uqla, the center of the Sawmaa district, and the mountainous "Sharjan" area in the Mukairas district overlooking the Lauder district of Abyan governorate and parts of Maswarah adjacent to the first district of Shabwah governorate.

The sources indicated that these developments in the field mean that Al-Bayda Governorate has become completely under the control of the militia.
