Shabwa, NewsYemen:

On Monday, Prime Minister Maeen Abdul-Malik arrived in Shabwa governorate (southeast of the country), a week after the Houthi militia took control of 3 districts in the governorate without a fight.

A source in the local authority in Shabwa told NewsYemen that Abdul-Malik arrived on a plane to Balhaf, from which he flew to meet the pro-Brotherhood governor, Muhammad Saleh bin Adyo, in the city of Ataq, the capital of the governorate.

He added that the Emirati forces present within the Arab coalition forces to secure Balhaf provided the necessary security protection for the movements of the legitimate prime minister, during this visit.

The source explained that an Emirati military plane transported Abdul-Malik to Ataq, where he held a two-hour meeting with Governor Ibn Adyo, and then returned on the plane to stay in Balhaf.

The visit of Prime Minister Maeen Abdul-Malik to Shabwa governorate coincided with the Houthi militia's takeover of the three Bayhan districts, in addition to the Harib district in the adjacent Marib governorate.
