Washington welcomes the return of the prime minister and urges meeting the needs of Yemenis

 On Wednesday, the United States Embassy in Yemen welcomed the return of the Prime Minister of the Government of Participation, Maeen Abdul-Malik, to the city of Aden, after an absence of 6 months.

"We welcome the return of the Prime Minister to Aden, and we urge all parties to work together to restore peace and stability and meet the needs of the people," the US embassy said on its Twitter account.

On Tuesday, Abdul-Malik arrived in Aden, accompanied by a number of his government ministers who left the city outside Yemen, several months ago.

Earlier on Wednesday, an official source in the Political Bureau of the National Resistance welcomed the return of Prime Minister Maeen Abdul-Malik to the homeland.

The source also welcomed the contents of his speech in Shabwa Governorate, in which he emphasized the unification of the national ranks and the unity of the battle on all fronts against the Houthi militia, and on addressing the economic situation and alleviating the suffering of citizens.
