The Saudi forces completed their departure from the city of Ataq, the capital of Shabwa Governorate, on Sunday.
Military sources said that the Saudi forces present at Ataq Airport left completely suddenly.
The sources stated that the Saudi forces left without informing the Brotherhood authorities about their departure.
The director of the Culture Office in Shabwa Governorate, "Mohammed Salem Al-Ahmadi", had denied, on Sunday evening, the departure of the Saudi forces in a post on "Facebook", but he returned minutes later and deleted it.
The departure of these forces came days after the coalition forces left the Al-Alam camp, which the Brotherhood forces later stormed.
The sources indicate that the reasons for leaving the Saudi forces come after the increased risks of the city falling into the hands of the Houthi militia, in light of the apparent conflict between the pro-Iranian group and the Brotherhood, which controls the capital, Ataq.
