Today, Tuesday, November 30, 2021, Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh, leader of the National Resistance and Head of the Political Bureau, held a meeting with Russian Ambassador to Yemen Vladimir Didushkin.
The meeting, which was held via a closed electronic circuit, touched on the most prominent field and political developments, as well as a number of issues of common interest, foremost of which is the efforts implemented by the envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations in Yemen, including his recent visit to Moscow within the framework of the international efforts to establish peace and dismantle the repercussions of the crisis and war.
During the meeting, Brigadier General Tariq Muhammad Abdullah Saleh praised the roles of the Russian Federation in support of Yemen and Yemenis in various stages and circumstances, the latest of which is the role Moscow plays in order to drop the name of the international sanctions imposed on the martyr leader Ali Abdullah Saleh and Ambassador Ahmed Ali.
The meeting also discussed developments in the national arena, including the continuation of the Houthi attack on Marib, the situation of the Stockholm Agreement in Hodeidah, and the advances of the joint forces in the coast.
Brigadier-General Tariq Saleh praised the influential and distinguished roles and efforts undertaken by Ambassador Didushkin throughout his tenure as ambassador of friendly Russia in Yemen.
