Seiyun.. An increase in the number of displaced people from the areas of the Houthi wars

The Executive Unit for the Displaced in Seiyun District, Hadramout Governorate, reported that the number of families displaced to the district from conflict areas and under the control of Houthi militias since the beginning of this year has reached (498) families distributed over the district's areas and neighborhoods, to escape the oppression of the Iranian militias.

Director of the Executive Unit for the Displaced in Seiyun District, Nadia Al-Fakhri, indicated that assistance to these families calls for civil society organizations working in the field of relief to redouble their efforts and make more efforts with national, regional and international organizations to increase the volume of relief aid provided, given the poor living conditions of all citizens due to the deterioration of the situation.  The value of the national currency and its repercussions on the livelihood of citizen

In this context, the Director-General of Seiyun Directorate, Muhammad Al-Amiri, confirmed that the directorate, during the past and present period, has received displaced people from various governorates of the Republic, who were displaced due to war and conflict, and they live in difficult conditions at all levels of life.

The Director-General of Seiyun District, Muhammad Al-Amiri, called for the urgent action of local and international partners to intervene in providing the displaced with food, shelter and other requirements to improve their daily standard of living and provide an environment for the displaced in which all the basic ingredients are met.

In addition, the Assistant Undersecretary of Hadhramaut Governorate for the affairs of the Valley and Desert districts, Engineer Hisham Al-Saidi, stressed the need to provide an information database for the displaced to enable them to know the necessary needs of the arriving numbers and the nature of the interventions of the local authorities.
