Five civilians were killed and five others were injured, when two separate mines planted by the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen, exploded between the governorates of Marib and Al-Jawf.

A local source said that three civilians were killed and five others were injured as a result of the explosion of an anti-vehicle mine in a civilian vehicle owned by the citizen, Ahd Munif, one of the injured in the accident.

Two people were also killed when a landmine exploded in the car of the citizen Faisal Zayed Al-Dhalai, which led to the death of him and his companion, on the desert road in the Al-Yatama area in the Khub Wal Shaaf district, northeast of Al-Jawf Governorate.

The terrorist Houthi militia has turned many governorates into the largest minefield due to its massive and indiscriminate planting of mines on the roads and farms of citizens in several governorates.
