Military sources said that government forces launched an attack on sites where the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm, is stationed, in the eastern Balaq, south of Marib.

According to military sources, who told NewsYemen, military reinforcements arrived at government forces' sites and launched an attack on Houthi sites since Sunday evening, and continued until dawn today.

According to the sources, the forces did not make any progress.

This coincides with the Houthis launching intensive attacks on army positions in Al-Naqa'a Al-Alia', Al-Jarisha and Muhair Al-Sam', where the militia is trying to penetrate through launching intensive attacks on the Al-Naq'a area towards the Kira area of the Al-Wadi District.

The militia also launched intensive attacks from its positions in the Laerif desert, which is located to the west of the eastern Balaq mountain and to the north of the Juba mountains, in an attempt to reach the point of the falaj.

Yesterday, the Iranian arm took control of the Al-Faliha desert area, which is the last area of the Al-Juba district.
