Aden, NewsYemen:

Saudi media quoted Yemeni press sources as saying that the Iranian ambassador to the Houthi militia left Sanaa airport on an Iraqi military plane.

Al-Hadath channel reported on its official account on Twitter that Irloo was seen in a critical condition and transferred to the bed by an ambulance.

And on Friday, an American newspaper reported that the Houthi militia had requested the departure of Iran’s representative and its man in Yemen, in a move indicating the existence of differences between the Houthis and Tehran.

The American newspaper, "The Wall Street Journal", said that the Houthis asked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to allow the senior Iranian diplomat to return immediately to Iran, a request that Saudi officials considered an indication of tensions between Tehran and the coup militias.

Irloo is a member of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and was smuggled to Yemen last year, and was named the country's ambassador to the areas under the control of the Houthis.

The newspaper quoted regional officials as saying that the Iranian diplomat, Hassan Irloo, was deeply involved in supporting the Houthis in planning the battlefield, and had increased his influence in Yemen to strengthen the Houthi militia's acquiescence to Tehran and the implementation of its agenda.

According to regional officials, the Saudis told the Houthis that they would not allow Iran to bring a plane into Yemen to carry Airlo, and instead, according to the officials, Irloo could only be flown on a plane from Oman or Iraq.

The Houthi request to Saudi Arabia comes amid escalating fighting in the seven-year-old war.

Regional and Western officials said that in recent days, the leaders of the Houthi militia asked Saudi officials for permission to put Irloo on a flight back to Tehran, and the Houthis assured Riyadh that they would not replace Irloo with a new Iranian diplomat.
