Mocha, NewsYemen, private:

A child was killed, and three others were injured, Monday evening, in a hand grenade explosion left by the Houthi militia in the Mocha district.

A local source told NewsYemen that the explosion occurred at a place for collecting and selling metallic waste, while one of the children took out a bomb he had in his possession, among a group of empty metal toys, to sell it.

 It added that the bomb, which the child probably did not know how dangerous it was, fell, causing it to explode.

He explained that the explosion killed one of the children, and injured three others who were standing near him.

It pointed out that the three injured were taken to the surgical hospital of Doctors Without Borders in the city of Mocha for treatment.
