21 Houthis were killed, including a leader, in coalition raids, west of Taiz

Twenty-one members of the Houthi militia, including a prominent leader, were killed in air strikes by the Arab coalition, in western Yemen.

The coalition fighters launched four air raids on patrols carrying human reinforcements for the Houthi militia in the "Maqbna" district, west of Taiz governorate.

The coalition said that it carried out four operations targeting the Houthi militia, as part of its operations to support the joint forces on the western coast of Yemen and protect civilians.

Military sources confirmed that more than 20 Houthis were killed in the air strikes, including field commander Abdul Salam Yahya Al-Mutawakil, who is impersonating the rank of colonel.
