Upcoming changes in the leadership of Shuqrah forces

Abyan, NewsYemen, private:

Military sources said that changes are coming in the leadership of the Abyan axis of the legitimacy loyal to the Brotherhood to arrange and reform this force.

The sources indicated that military decisions will be issued in the coming days to change a number of military and security leaders in the Shuqrah forces, aiming to rearrange and restructure the force to start implementing the Riyadh Agreement.

The sources indicated that the changes may include the leadership of the axis and the leaders of brigades, and that they will be followed by directives to start implementing the Riyadh Agreement and withdraw to the fronts, as stated in the agreement.

It referred to a package of decisions that will be issued in the coming days to reform the path of the armed forces and remove corrupt leaders loyal to parties that do not want to unite the ranks and fight the Houthi militias.

The forces of the Abyan axis, which consists of 7 brigades and a number of forces coming from Shabwa and Marib, are present in the city of Shuqrah. 

These forces do not fight battles in defense of Shabwa, Marib and Abyan, and are led by leaders loyal to the Muslim Brotherhood and consider that their destination is only towards Aden, as their leaders say.
