The Media Center of the Giants Forces confirmed that the Giants Forces took over the Ataq Airport in Shabwa governorate on Tuesday evening.
The center explained that the process of receiving and handing over took place officially, this morning, Wednesday, in the presence of the recipient, the commander of the eleventh Giants Brigade, Abdul Rahman Al-Jaari, and in the presence of the Muslim, commander of the Ataq axis, Major General Aziz Al-Atiqi, and a number of military leaders.
It pointed out that the receipt of Ataq Airport came within the framework of the deployment of Giants forces in Shabwa governorate, in preparation for the liberation of the districts that fell into the hands of the Houthi militia.
