On Wednesday, Arab coalition fighters launched raids on Houthi militia sites and mechanisms in the Bayhan districts, west of Shabwa Governorate, southern Yemen.

Local residents told NewsYemen that the Arab coalition targeted separate Houthi sites in Bayhan, amid intense overflights.

Meanwhile, local sources reported that the Houthi militia moved combat vehicles and armed groups from inside the 19th Infantry Brigade camp, which it controls, and deployed them in the streets and neighborhoods of the city of Al-Alia.

The sources indicated that the militia resorted to this step to avoid the exposure of its weapons and combat equipment to aerial bombardment, by using civilians as human shields.

On Tuesday evening, Arab coalition fighters destroyed a ballistic missile launcher used by the Houthi militia in the attack on Ataq Airport, the capital of Shabwa governorate.

The coalition air fighters succeeded in destroying the Houthi platform in the 19th Infantry Brigade camp, located on the outskirts of Al-Alia city, the center of the Bayhan district, which the militia took control of last September without a fight.
