Aden, NewsYemen:

The forces of the Giants Brigades reached the borders of the Bayhan district in Shabwa governorate (south of the country), in preparation for the liberation of the three districts from the hands of the Houthi militia, the Iranian arm in Yemen.

Military sources reported that the Giants' forces had completed their military redeployment in Ataq, and headed towards the Bayhan district, in preparation for entering the battle with the Houthi militia.

The Giants Brigades announced, in a statement, that the process of receiving and handing over Ataq Airport was carried out under the supervision of the Saudi-led Arab coalition in Yemen.

The receipt of Ataq Airport comes within the framework of the deployment of the Giants forces in Shabwa governorate, in preparation for the liberation of the directorates handed over by the Brotherhood forces to the Houthi militia without a fight.

Earlier today (Thursday), the Houthi militia targeted Khamouma camp in Markha district, with a ballistic missile, which led to the death of a number of soldiers.

Military sources said that a number of soldiers were killed and wounded as a result of the Houthi missile attack on Khamuma camp, noting that a number of wounded arrived at Ataq Hospital.

The Houthi militia, stationed in the three Baihan districts, was terrified during the recent changes, which included the removal of the Brotherhood organization from the scene in Shabwa, and the arrival of the Giants’ forces to the governorate, especially as it aims to correct the course of the battle against the Houthis, and restore the areas that fell into their hands without a fight.

The Giants Brigades are preparing to break the siege on Marib by completely liberating the Shabwa governorate, tightening the noose around the Houthis in the Harib district, which is the most important supply lines for the militias towards the southern districts of Marib, and the incursion into Al-Bayda governorate, as part of a large-scale military operation, with the support of the Arab coalition led by Saudi Arabia.

A large and qualitative force of the Giants Brigades, equipped with the latest mechanisms, arrived at Ataq from the western coast as part of military efforts to liberate the districts of western and northern Shabwa from Houthi control, in addition to the liberation of the neighboring districts of southern Marib and Bayda governorate.
