Ataq city in Shabwa governorate, southern Yemen, ignited with fireworks to celebrate the victory of the southern forces of the Giants Brigades to liberate Asilan and defeat the terrorist Houthi militia, and a great popular celebration brought all the streets of the Shabwani capital.

Pictures and videos of the Shabwa celebrants in Ataq circulated on social media platforms, while southern joy pervaded all southerners in general on the first day of the new year.

The people of Shabwa raised the banners of the south in celebrations, and the sounds of drumming were heard to the sky, while a large reception and fireworks were fired from the people of Gul Al-Raydah for the heroes of the Shobanese elite, waving the flags of the south and calling in the spirit of blood, we sing for you, South.

Political activist Ahmed al-Rubaizi considered the celebrations and raising the banners of the south in the sky of Ataq, the capital of Shabwa, as a rehabilitation of the southern martyrs from the sons of Shabwa, headed by the martyr of the southern flag, the martyr Saeed Trader, and all the martyrs.  Brotherhood terrorism in its unjust prisons.

For his part, the political activist, Abdel Qader Abu Al-Laim, said that experience has proven that the people of the south and their successor, the Southern Transitional Council, are essential partners of the coalition, loyal to their Arab environment and a strong pillar of the region’s national security.  The southern armed forces dropped the last fig leaf on reform to reveal the extent of their identification with the Houthi group.
